DMEA members at Garton Elementary hosted a lovely reception in the school's media center at the end of their school day to visit about concerns of workload as well as issues before the state legislature.

Pictured with me is DMEA Membership Chair, Leslie Martin. The Des Moines Education Association (DMEA) with the help of Leslie's leadership, showed a significant membership increase this year. Way to go, Leslie! How lucky DMEA is to have you in a leadership role.
