Cedar Rapids EA Leadership

On Wednesday, March 1st I had the privilege to sit down in a lovely downtown Cedar Rapids restaurant and enjoy lunch with the CREA Leadership Team. CREA leaders pictured here on the left side of table-front to back are: Rosemary Berckes, registered/school nurse; Beth Holt, Jefferson High School Special Education teacher; Ann Morris, 1/2 time Art teacher at Harding Middle School and 1/2 time leader for the district's Resolution Team; Gary Anhalt, CREA president and ISEA Executive Board member from CedarWood UniServ Unit. On the right side of the table-front to back are: Kim Burrows, CedarWood UniServ Unit secretary; Michele Geers, teacher associate at Grant Elementary and CROTA leader; Tammy Wawro, district's Mentoring and Induction leader and CedarWood UniServ Unit president; and Kathy Krehbiel, UniServ Director for CedarWood.

At the end of my visit in CedarWood UniServ Unit, I was given the opportunity to visit with the faculty reps at their monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 1st. Pictured here is Gary Anhalt, CREA president; leading the meeting. Thanks Gary for your leadership on the local level (and my, oh my, are there great things going on in the CREA!) as well as on the state level.

Thanks, CedarWood for the awesome opportunities to meet you in your workplace, see the great opportunities you are providing for students, and to have your voices heard!
