Johnson Elementary of Cedar Rapids Earns Association Breakfast

Leaders in the Cedar Rapids Education Association delivered breakfast to CREA members at Johnson Elementary on Monday, February 27th. Pictured here is Team Cedar Rapids EA (from left to right) Kim Burrows, CedarWood UniServ Unit Secretary; Kathy Krehbiel, CedarWood UniServ Director; Gary Anhalt, Cedar Rapids EA president; Ray Feuss, CREA leader; Beth Holt, CREA and CWUU Public Relations Chair; and Kathleen Ziegler, Johnson Elementary Faculty Representative.

CREA leaders volunteer to deliver breakfast to buildings that increased their association membership by ONE member over their last year's membership. Thanks CREA leaders for just one of the many awesome ideas you have to involve members in building membership! Twenty-five of the thirty-five buildings in Cedar Rapids have GAINED membership. Way to go, CREA leaders!

Pictured (from left to right) Kathleen Ziegler, Johnson Elementary Faculty Rep and 2nd grade teacher; Lisa Fantz, CREA member and 3rd grade Johnson Elementary teacher; and Beth Holt, CREA and CWUU Public Relations Chair. Kathleen, Beth and I worked as a team delivering coffee, juice, muffins, breakfast bars and fresh fruit to Johnson Elementary members. Lisa was just one of the CREA members grateful for all the Association does for her!

Beth Holt served as my tour guide and driver for the three days I visited locals in CedarWood UniServ Unit. Thanks, Beth for your leadership on Team ISEA!

Dear Linda~
It was great to see a real person on a blog and see that education is still improving in this country, in spite of our administration. Check out my blog if you have time, www.clarkcountydiva.com
I'm about as opinionated as anybody, but I think we could be friends. (Ex-teacher from a family of teachers.)
