A Final Stop in the Saydel EA on Thursday

Following our first two school visits in Saydel this morning of November 29th at Woodside Middle School and Norwoodville Elementary, UniServ Director Peri Van Tassel and I were off with local leader Frankie Wolver to Cornell Elementary.

We were just in time for school lunch! We enjoyed our lunches by dining with staff in the Staff Lounge!

We have a full afternoon ahead with visits to five classrooms! Today I read the book Counting on Frank by Rod Clement. The first stop takes us to the homeroom of Kindergarten teacher Darla Van Houten. Darla is pictured on the right with her homeroom of Kindergartners.
Next, I read to the homeroom of Kelly Ugolini's 2nd grade (on the left), followed by a classroom visit to JoAnn Curran's 3rd grade. JoAnn is pictured (at right) with her homeroom of 3rd graders.

The final two classroom visits take us to both 2nd grade homerooms. On the left is Heidi Bogers homeroom of 2nd graders and on the right Shannon Zeuntenhorst and her 2nd grade homeroom.
Thank you Saydel EA members for the terrific work that is taking place in your classrooms for the students of Iowa! How lucky we are to have each of you on Team ISEA!
