Kirkwood Faculty Association Meets and Lunch at "Class Act"

Preparing for her first meeting to be held over the ICN as KFA president on Thursday, September 14th is Johanna Kruckeberg. Johanna is getting a little technology assistance here from KFA past president Keith Hench. Approximately 40 KFA members participated at the Cedar Rapids/Kirkwood site and another 10 members at the Iowa City/Kirkwood center. Reports were given and the vision for the year ahead were shared. New faculty members that joined were introduced and welcomed into the KFA. I was given time to share Team ISEA's goals for the year: building membership and getting involved in this fall's election by helping a recommended candidate.

Following the KFA meeting, the KFA leadership team treated CedarWood UniServ Director Kathy Krehbiel and I to lunch at the college's culinary arts program restaurant "Class Act". It is an extra "classy" place with delicious food!

Thanks, President Johanna and the Kirkwood Faculty Association leaders for all you do every day as leaders on Team ISEA!
