Northern Pride UniServ Unit Meets for Dinner in Sanborn

Leaders of the Northern Pride UniServ Unit met at the Sanborn Country Club for dinner on Wednesday, September 6th. The first to arrive for the Unit dinner were (left side of table-on the left) Pam Von Hagel, High School Spanish and English teacher at Akron-Westfield; Liz Barnett, Early Childhood Special Education and Title I teacher in Akron-Westfield; and (on the right-in front) Craig Cadman, Middle School Science teacher in Sioux Central; and Lynette Hyndman, 2nd grade teacher in Cherokee.

A favorite friend from Northern Pride is Cindy Fitzgerald (pictured at right), 1st grade teacher in Boyden-Hull and Northern Pride UniServ Unit Vice President. Cindy brought a book that she thought I might read aloud when I share great literature in my visits to elementary classrooms throughout the state. The book is What Do Teachers Do (after YOU Leave School)? by Anne Bowen. It looks like a great choice. Thanks, Cindy!

Thanks leaders of Team ISEA in our Northern Pride UniServ Unit for all you do as respected leaders in your school districts and for all you do on behalf of Team ISEA! It was extra special to share a meal and some conversation again with you!
