Live at Five on KTIV

My Siouxland day ended Tuesday with an interview on the NBC affiliate KTIV in Sioux City.

Co-anchor of the KTIV evening news, Kristy Ver Mulm (pictured with me) did a live interview on the 5:00 p.m. newscast. I had a chance to applaud the effort of Siouxland legislators Rep. Roger Wendt and Rep. Wes Whited, as well as state Senator Steve Warnstadt. I shared how it is indeed a new day for public education in Iowa with the new majority party in the Iowa House and Senate--working together with Governor Culver.

Before heading out of the KTIV studios, Wanda Synhorst stopped to pose with TV sensation Ellen DeGeneres.
